Hey hi everyone, I have a 2009 Nissan Versa S 1.8 6 speed manual and wondering what engine is good to put in it. I heard sentra 2.6 or 2.8 can fit in the Versa and wanted to confirm that and what else that needs to be molded.

Also is it possible to mod the current Versa engine as is like turbo and other parts to have it more HP...

Engine swaps are not easy, despite what you may have heard. Electronic architecture will be different and ECM and IPDM are designed for the 1.8 engine. The Versa engine isn't easily modded for more performance, so if you're serious about dropping a lot of money, I'd suggest saving it and later buy a Nissan with a higher performance potential.
