Well, couple of things to check:

1. Does it get faster as the engine speed increases (have someone press on the gas,"gently" as you listen).
2. Does it always make the noise or is it only when the engine is cold.
3. Better description of your car: automatic, cvt, standard transmission, model (S, SV ...), miles on car.
4. Did something change just before you noticed the noise: oil change, new muffler, accident.....

That is the sound a collapsed lifter would make but that is just a wild guess.

1. It does increase in speed as RPMs increase.
2. It generally doesn't make the noise right at start up, but within a couple minutes it will be consistent. Seems to be louder 2000-2500 RPM but even is present when idling.
3. My versa is 2009 cvt automatic (hatchback, I think it's the 1.6). I have 140k miles.
4. I haven't had anything new on the car; I did hear the noise around 100k miles, but it was only a couple times and never consistent. Now it's every time I drive the car.

Thanks for all your help, I don't know much about my car. From what I've read elsewhere I suspect it could be a timing chain related issue, but that's just a shot in the dark for me.

Are you sure it's not a severe exhaust leak? Sounds like it from the first vid and at the end of the second once the microphone moves away from the engine.

If noise is actually inside motor I hope you are not still driving it, risking turning car into junk, may already be too late.................
