Hi all,

I have a 2010 Versa 1.6 Automatic Hatchback.

I am having problems starting the car. When I turn the key the ights on the dash all light up, but there is no cranking sound or sound of any type.

The Versa has 24,000 miles and this is the first issue of this type that I have encountered.

Any ideas of the best way to approach this:thumb2:

Welcome to the forums.
Thanks for the welcome
Was your car from another country because there is no 1.6 Versa hatchback available in the USA until the Versa Note came out.

You problem sounds like a brake or clutch switch or possibly a starter. Welcome to the forum!

Do you have a transponder mechanical key ?
Do you check battery voltage first with a multimeter?

Check the PDC power distribution center box. look for the starter relay with its fuse, does the I-key stuck on the cluster while starting, make sure battery voltage is 12.6+ and that your I-key or keyfob unlock the door.
