So this happened out of the blue, I drove home for lunch from work and everything was fine. I parked my car at home. Then when I was trying to leave to go back to work, my car wouldn't start. I have no background about cars whatsoever. The radio turns on but it makes this noise when I crank it. I don't really know what to do. Thankfully, we have an old spare car that I took back to work, but I don't what's wrong with my car. We're gonna try and jump it later with my coworker but I'm trying not to get it towed and spend a lot to get it fix. Please help me. I asked around and they said it might be the battery, or starter or alternator or the feul pressure regulator but im just lost. I took a video of it. Please help me out

No video in your message. We need more information in order to venture a guess. What kind of noise when your crank it?? Does that starter turn the engine over, or does it just CLICK?? If you jump it, and the starter still CLICKS, then it is a good indication that the starter is the problem. Sometimes, if you give the starter itself a good whack it may allow you to start the car. The more information you can give us, the more we might be able to narrow it down. Good luck!!!

OP get the battery checked and that means a loadtest at proper CCA.

A dead battery will play radio and lower level power draw things all day long but not have enough amp to kick the starter on and why the click happens. Then people see small electrical things working and assume the battery is not the issue. WRONG about 80% of the time. I sold starters all day long to people thinking them clicking meant the starter was bad and how bad things are as far as the conventional wisdom goes now. Then the next day I took all those starters back as returns when they were not the problem at all. A bad battery means often it has lost the big cranking power it needs to engage and turn a starter (up to 250 amp) but typically the battery still makes small amp that powers things like radio, instrument lighting, etc. Clicking just means the starter does not have enough amp to spin the motor up even if the solenoid has contacted the running contacts. Good way to start a fire too that, don't push it.
