Yes. My '11 has problems, too. Noticed that traffic was passing me, while the speedo was at the speed limit. Odometer was off, too....using mile markers. Brought it up at the first service, just got some ragtime. Was asked if I used a gps.
So, I plugged in and zeroed the Garmin, and plugged in the Scan Gauge II. ScanGauge will read the proper mph, coming from the obd 2 port. NOTE: my Versa is a 6 spd. base model
Did 2 runs, 1 for 900 miles, and 2nd for just over 1,000 mi. Odometer is 3.6 % high. speedo runs 3-4 mph high. Gave the results to the Svc Mgr of the dlr, we are going out sometime this week with a 'gizmo' that he has, probably something that will read the obd.
The biggest problem to me is that at 3.6 %, the car will show 36K mi, when it only has 34.5 =/-. Warrantee will end quicker.
In my state there is a lemon law, 3 strikes and they own the car. Hope I don't have to go there, I like my car. In E. Mass, there are no more sticks available. (My wife picked up her Versa yesterday, salesman told me the story, he can't get any. Also he got an intro on the '12 Versa sedan). I did not see the new sedan.
Will follow up after my ride w/ the Svc Mgr.
