Greetings.

I'm new here & new to the world of Versas.

2011 Versa S 1.8L auto(non-cvt) 5 door hatchback.

Having some very strange issues.
I think the alternator may have been charging way too high (15V).
The bearings were squaking, so I replaced it with one from a bone yard.

Verified 14V after first starting.

However, now it has trouble starting & driving.
Threw codes for the Accelerator Pedal Position sensor so I replaced that with one from a junkyard.

The codes have not gone away, no matter how many times I clear them with my scan tool.
Sensor D shows a % when applying the pedal, but sensor E shows nothing.

I'm not sure if the new-to-me APP is bad or if there is an issue from the alternator.
Randomly, I'll get a code for the crank sensor or other things and the power is way down.

When driving, the cruise will not set, the rev limiter hits at 2600RPM in 1st gear & at ~4500RPM in 2nd.
When touching the brake pedal & accelerator pedal, the engine will "die" to idle.
When driving slowly & pressing the accelerator to the floor, it will not downshift & gains speed very slowly.

So. Does it have a PCM or ECM or ECU?
How can I check the PCM/ECM/ECU to see if it is working correctly?
How can I check the APP to see if it's working correctly?

TIA

I need to replace my 2007 Versa Pedal Accelerator Position Sensor. Evidently you removed the old unit before you replaced it. I'm stuck at trying to disconnect the electrical connector without damaging it. What is the method for disconnecting it?

Thanks to anyone in advance who has experience with this specific connector.

This is a link to a Google search page. Half way down the page is a PDF listed Engine Control system. Click on that link, and it will bring up the shop manual. Give it time to load in......it takes about 1-2 minutes.
