Hello Derek,

Please describe the problem in more details, for example.
does cut off mean stall?
Is it when the engine is warm, cold
do you have any engine lights on.

After run for 3 to 4 hours the car stalls then cuts off. It takes 30 to 40 minutes before it will start again.

Assuming the engine cranks, but won't fire, you could try whacking the fuel tank from underneath to see if the engine starts. I'm thinking this is a fuel pump problem, but it's just a guess.

You could also pull up the rear seat and tap it from the top.

How are your battery terminals? My brother's car shut down suddenly while he was driving on the freeway. Turns out that the battery terminals had a lot of build-up; he cleaned them up and it hasn't shut down since then.

I took the car to an O'Reilly auto store to have the employee plug in an OBD2 reader and it confirmed the battery terminal issue (I believe it said something regarding the voltage). You may want to take it to an auto parts store (O'Reilly, Autozone, CarQuest, Advance Auto Parts, etc.). They can plug in their OBD2 reader into your car and read any error messages/check-engine light messages for you for free (but they obviously won't fix it for you for free.
