Bought a 2013 versa SE 1.6L with 125000miles few months ago. Transmission slipping recently sometimes it struggles to move randomly after waiting a red light . Doesn't move until I rev the car to 3000-4000rpm. I don't think the previous owner ever changed trans fluid ( or a long time ago), will doing that help? Thanks

It would help to know if you have an "automatic" or CVT transmission.................

Are you sure the transmission is slipping? Is it making noise? I'd bring it in for diagnosis. If it's a cvt a fluid change won't fix anything.

yea I have a CVT . Sometimes it refuses to move till I bring it up to 3000rpm after a stop from red light. Transmission can be heard at anytime basically. It still moves a little bit forward from Drive to Park if I don't use handbrake and it makes me really worried right now.

I would take it into the dealership and have them diagnose it. From what you describe, and the mileage you have, I would venture a guess that your CVT is on the way out. Hope I am wrong..........................
