While Nissan introduces us to a newly redesigned Rogue for 2014, the 1st generation Rogue will not be going away. Its Nissan's 2nd best selling car. According to Nissan, the Rogue saw an increase of sales in 2013 vs 2012 and Nissan has decided to continue making the 1st gen and 2nd gen Rogue for 2014. The 1st gen Rogue will remain the same, but will start under $20K. The new Rogue will be about $22,500. Its gonna be about a $3K difference. The new Rogue is bigger, quieter, more mature, and offering better options then the Rogue select, but Nissan believes that since the current gen Rogue is selling so well, they will continue selling the current gen Rogue, which will be called Rogue Select. Nissan is doing this, so they still have a practical, small, and affordable crossover in their lineup. Nissan hopes to fill the gap between Rogue select and Murano/pathfinder with the new Rogue. Didn't know who all knew about this. This will be interesting to see the 2013 and 2014 Rogue's being sold together as 2014's.

I myself can't WAIT to see/test drive the new Rogue. It looks like a smaller Pathfinder, which I like. I can definitely see me possibly buying a fully loaded Rogue in the future..only time will tell.

New rogue looks great. Not as good as the qashai but great none the less. I can see why nissan didn't totally get rid of the last model since it sells extremely well.

Nissan did this same thing in their infiniti lineup by offering the g37 besides the new q50 which was supposed to be the next generation model.
