Today I performed the first tire rotation on my new to me Note. The first of many I hope! Anyway I did a couple searches in the forum and nothing popped up about the TPMS and rotating your tires.
My Note did not need any special equipment to reset the TPMS after rotating them :grin. I took it for a spin afterwards up to 45 MPH around the block for 10 minutes or so and no dummy lights came on.

The only thing I found strange was the rotation pattern in the OM. I'm used to moving rears across to the front and fronts straight back. The OM has us swap left rears and fronts, and swap right rears and fronts. Thought that pattern was reserved for directional tires. Either way all done with "0" issues.

TPMS should not be affected by simple tire rotation, at least I have not come across any issues on any of my cars over the years.

I agree, typical 4-tire rotation is as you described (I think people call this forward-cross). Maybe Nissan uses or have used directional tires in some non-North American markets and that's the reason for the OM tire rotation pattern.

As jas32 mentioned TPMS should not be affected by tire rotation on our cars. The only time it is an issue is if the TPMS display gives the position of the tire which my 2009 does not.
