I presume this is a fix for the "limp mode" problem, which I've experienced twice in one year of very light driving. So I made an appointment and took it in this morning. They knew I was coming for this recall. I was in their waiting area for only about 15 minutes when they came to tell me they didn't have the part. Something about not having that part for a manual transmission THE RECALL IS ONLY FOR MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS! I was not pleased, but I don't know much about cars. Just a little warning to make yourselves very clear when booking your appointment.
Is there any chance they weren't BSing me?
