Finally hit a quarter of a million miles on Friday. Heres what I have done
1 Alternator
1 Drive Belt
1 Catalytic Convertor
2 O2 sensors
2 sets of front pads
1 set of rear shoes
5 sets of tires
1 exhaust and intake gasket(did them during the cat replacment thought it would be best)
2 sets of spark plugs
1 side mirror(got to close to a road cone and shattered it)
1 drivers window (broken into)
Lost track of oil, transmission and air filter changes
Numerous lights bulbs.
1 set of shocks

This is what I have done from the original parts. So add 1 to everything and you can get an idea of how much maintinence i have done. And I am still getting 29 mpg combined. and for those that dont know its a 1.8 AT S model

Do you consume oil?

How about some pictures?
Nope dont consume any oil. Ill try and take some pics tommorow of it.
wow thats intense!!!!
Truly an awesome achievement. Is it giving you any problems or making any weird noises? You get that feeling like it's time for a new car yet because it's getting old?
That just rocks!
AC still work?
What are your fave tires so far?
That's unusual to break in on driver's side. Usually psgr side.
Keep rollin! Pics!

You didn't do any rotors or drums? Just pads and shoes?
I turned the rotors at the third set of front pads. Still on the same drums but havent turned em. Everything works fine heat a/c. The whole thing is great. And no I dont need a new car. I am gonna run this thing into the ground dig it out and run it some more.

man this is truly awesome and the Versa by far is the cheapest car to own. I hope I have the same situation as you with my Versa. I usually do one pad change then on the next just put on new rotors. I never measure the thickness or anything but I think with the V I will!

My car only has 52k miles so far and the only thing showing any signs of wear is the tires. I have the 1.6 so I pray they used same quality parts.

I to will be running this car until the very end. Resale pretty much blows so driving it until it dies is the best way to get your monies worth. Once it's paid off it will have about 150k miles (I drive alot). To go another 150k or so with out major repairs or problems would be phenomenal
What fuel type do you use: regular, midgrade or premium?
regular. no need to use anythign else.
regular. no need to use anythign else.
I use midgrade because I read on line that regular makes the engine knock because the explosion happens before the piston reaches the top. I get 330+ miles per tank, [city and highway mixed]. next time I fill her up, I will down grade to regular 87 octane and see what I get ;)

lower octane can do that. But that also happens because of higher compression engines. IDK what our CR is but I doubt it's high enough to worry about.

I just put whatever is the cheapest at the pump in the car. I get 300/tank on the highway but about 260 city. 1.8L CVT

ohh...I know =)
I dont think my 1.8 is high compression or anything
man...that would be funny haha Rolling on the Floor
