I've got free oil changes for a year already the car is a brand new 2012 I got it with just 34 miles I'm very displeased to say the least. Especially since I've only had the car two weeks.

good thing it is still under warranty. the dealer will get paid by nissan to fix the problem.
it is best to take care of everything before the warranty runs out, if you keep having problems keep taking it back to the dealer. that sucks man

Make sure to keep records of the repairs. Some cars are lemons and you might be covered by the lemon law if problems persist. Personally, if you financed the car, tell the bank about the problem. They don't want a lemon either. They may request the dealer replace the car.

It could be. I thought the same thing when I bought mine with 10 miles on it.

Cracked rear view mirror, bubble in one of the tires, no trunk light even though I had the package that included it, and the steering wheel would shake above 45mph. I bought the car 2 hours away so I had to somewhat fight my local dealer to get the issues resolved. For the wheel shaking I took another for a test drive and had to show them that the wheel should not shake and it didn't on another identical Versa. So, they put me in a rental car for a bit over 2 weeks while the tried to fix the problem. Ended up replacing the whole steering rack and electronic steering assist module.

*knock on wood* Everything is okay now with 10,000 miles.

But, I still think my local dealer service writers are idiots. Had my oil changed there b/c I get them free for the first year and asked for a tire rotation as well b/c they havent been rotated and should be every 5k-6k miles. They didn't do it and said it didn't need it.....so that irritated the hell out of me. Can't wait until I dont have to go back there.

A lemon is a car that comes with multiple defects that can't be resoved in a reasonable or timely manner.
I guess this is USA terminology and forgot we have users all over the world. Thanks for explaining. I've seen lemon cars before and they are nothing but trouble. Not sure what causes them, but sometimes cars are problem prone. Most American made cars I've owned had some problems, but not a lemon. Toyotas and Nissans I owned have been trouble free for the most part. If I owned a new car with a radiator popped, I would tell the dealer to replace it now. Especially since you financed it with their bank. They may want to depreciate the miles you've already driven, but that is their problem for selling you a defective car. If it takes sitting in front of the dealership with a sign saying "Don't Buy Here" then do it IMO.

They fixed it no problem. I'm also a mechanic I just make more money making tools for Boeing. They cannot try and pull any bs on me. I went in there told them the radiator was popped and they tested it and overnighted one in and had it fixed the next day. Im very pleased with the service just not so much the quality of the car so far. I have a feeling this car will be gone with the warranty.
