Can be done but the BCM needs to be programmed by Nissan. Also check my above posts in this thread they kinda cover the rest of your post :)
By the way on my model I don't know if its true for every model (09 nissan versa s manual everything 1.8) or year versa they were unable to reprogram the bcm because they said my bcm had no option to even turn on for power locks and windows

What year was the donor car? I am interested in doing the same thing but mine is a 2011.

PS

sergmx - I don't know if you are still reading this but the OEM fog light switch is on the indicator stock as a middle dial. Many people have used that spot for aftermarket things like fog lights but the OEM is definitly on the indicator stock.

Fereo0 - I also have a 09 s all manual. I had an 07 SL parts car and have everything from it. I have already swapped the doors and connected wiring. The passenger door had a second connector though that mine didn't have, so i need to dig for that harness i'm assuming it's taped up.

From what I can tell you are correct that the 09 S BCM (manual) does not have a power window option. When you swapped in the donor BCM did you then have to have your keys reprogrammed for the new BCM? The 07 Donor was an SL with Intelligent key and I've been afraid that I'll need to find another year model bcm without the intelligent key programming and then get new keys coded to the new BCM.

Could you please advise me of how you finished this part of your swap? Thank you!

I'm thinking of buying an aftermarket power locks and window kit and installing them in a Versa Note S Plus. However, I've been reading on the forums about having to install a new BCM as well if I want to put in power locks and window kits from the Nissan factory.

Do I need to install a new BCM or reprogram the existing one if I want to install aftermarket power locks and window kits?

hey, I'm also new to v forum. I have a 2010 hatch 1.8 with 138,000 miles I bought it used at an auction, battery was dead, I bought a new one, but I also noticed the radio had power ever after the key was out of the ignition , next day, battery was dead again so I just disconnected the radio.I know for sure its not a radio problem, It's an active power wire that stays on after I turn off the car. Does anyone have a solution to this problem, most of my relays are cool to the touch.Since I am new to versa I jst dont know where my accessory relay is located and I dont have a manual. It's a base model with no power windows or lock and also has a flashing red car icon with a key symbol on instrument cluster, I also dont know what it means. Thanks for reading

Hi,
Im new to the forum and i just bought a 2014 Versa S. I was wondering if i could hook up a viper alarm and get power locks with that, instead of going with the OEM fob. any suggestions?

I'm in the middle of doing a viper install now. I went with after market power locks and windows. The window motors and wiring harness was 100 bucks and the locks were 40 bucks off amazon.

The range on the Viper is amazing. It's way better than my co-workers factory 2 ways remote start from Honda.

Hi, I just got my manual Versa converted to factory complete doors from Donor car. I bought the BCM from a power windows and door locks. Do I need to take my car to the Dealer and get it reprogramized?

I just ordered this power lock/keyless entry kit from A1 Electric. This will be part of my car upgrade to include a radio/speaker upgrade to a Pioneer AVIC-8201NEX Nav Unit with Focal RCX-165 speakers

https://www.a1electric.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=AEOS&Product_Code=W02C-712T

EDIT: They will be professionally installed on the 13th of January. At that time, I'll report back how that worked out. Maybe in the future, I'll consider power windows for the front windows

EDIT: The install went great, I upgraded at the installers to add 2 way remote start which brought the install price with the 2 way remote start/keyless entry to $975. I also added an Alpine KLP-445U brick amp to the mix and the sound system sounds phenomenal.
