adjusting rear coilover after installation

so, since I got the test coils from megan racing, i thought the one inch drop was good, but that gap wasn't.

I've decided to drop the car another half inch all around, the front was easier than I had expected. It took me roughly, 20-30 min with both front coils. (grant it that I didn't have a jack, and was resource to use my standard car jack.)

so, I wanted to tackle the rear, but I came to the conclusion that it's hard to for me to just lower the spring. I think I have to lower rear shock, in order to have less tension on the spring.

so, I need advice in how to lower the spring without removing the shocks.

Dont remove the rear shocks completely - just unbolt the bottom bolt and let the axle down. That will remove the tension. Just like you install the rear springs.

THANK YOU SO MUCH, I'll more than likely do it tomorrow once im out of work, i'll post pictures of how the rear sits now, and after the drop. :thumb2::thumb2::woot:
Just make you have tension on the rear axle with a floor jack, and jack stands under the pinch welds. Unbolt the bottom bolt, then slowly lower the floor jack and the rear springs will just pop out. Its super easy. GL !

Suspension parts for 2012 -2014 versa sedan any word on megan racing

Any word back from Meagan racing about suspension parts like strut bars, lower tie bars, lowering springs ect.it's embarrassing to see when Yaris, aveo, and other wtf kinda makes and models years get suspension aftermarket parts and we get nothing at all. Sorry i'm growing impatient cuz I really want to experience the true abilities of the looks and handling of my versa.

in all honesty, it's a pain trying to get back at danny with any word.

but he did say that the coils are going to be around, $1,000 for the set. and i really haven't heard anything else.

i'm going to try to reach someone else in a different company who is willing to work with the 14 versa sedan.

i came in contact with tanabe and they said they're only looking for the nissan versa fit, but are considering me as a back up if they can't find the note.

hopefully something happens.

 A few times. I plan on getting coilovers some day, but the se-r comes first !
They sent you test coilovers but didn't install it themselves? Not sure how that works considering they should take notes on how the coilovers fit and take info on the drop data as well.

they installed them, and they asked how low of a drop. i just said an inch drop for now.

a few weeks past and i decided to drop it another half inch, and i tried to get ahold of danny, but it was a no go, until the next day (after i posted this post) and now my car sits 1 1/2 inch from stock ride hight.
