I have been to this site before, although I never registered. I have owned my 2007 Nissan Versa S since October 2006. The car has been great, very reliable, and incredibly loyal to me. I have been everywhere (in the Army), and the car has 125,000 K miles. Yes, that is a lot. But I love this car, and I have treated it well, and in return has been good to me.

I just recently ordered a Stillen CAI on it, just for kicks, although I'm not planning on modifying it. My brother will be installing it for me. The only other product it has is a K&N drop in filter, which I bought as soon as I pulled the car off the transporter (trailer) that day in October 2006 from the Dealership.

Welcome to the forums. Nice hatch. Any plans for it?

Nah bro. I figure, I've had the car for like 6 years now with no modifications done to it. Again, my brother will install the Stillen CAI as soon as he has time. The only future plans for it is to give it to my younger sister. Plus, I will be able to drive it whenever I want. I am giving her this car and I have ordered a Scion FR-S from Power Toyota in Long Beach, CA.

I love the Versa though.

For the K& N drop-in filter, yes; all you really need, at least what I have done is to smack it around a couple times. Ensure there's no debris on the threads, if so, just blow it out or pick them out. I then just get a little bucket, and wash it with soap and water. Rinse it, and hang dry. It takes like 30 mins tops.

So, with keeping everything stock (but the k&n) have you had any major problems or has it been a great car (excluding the typical stuff). I'm curious, debating on keeping mine all stock, or make some tweaks/changes.

Thanks. And yes, it's been bone stock since I pulled it off the trailer at the lot. The only problem I ran into was the starter was faulty. The warranty covered it of course. It was a few weeks old when I started having starting problems. Now, 125K miles later, no problem whatsoever. All maintenance up to date, and the car is near perfect. The only other problem I got was that the hubcaps fell off on their own, so I took all of them off and my brother painted the wheels black. I haven't had to change spark plugs, wires, battery, or anything mechanical. I have had to purchase bulbs before though.

If I were you, I'd keep it stock.
