Hey guys, i was wondering if anyone has installed alpine SPS-600 speakers in their versa. According to crutchfield, they wont fit, even though they fit 6.5" openings. Anyone use these speakers?
Thanks for the help!

I'm installing Alpine SPR-17c in the rear doors of my hatchback. I believe the 600's are the previous version.
The magnets are HUGE and barely clear the door limiter when closed, but they fit. In front, you'd have to play with backspacing, but I'm thinking you can get these to fit.

Well I have Infinity Reference 6032cf speakers in all 4 doors, and crutchfield says that wont fit, but they fit perfectly. idk. I got mine off of sonicelectronix.com back when they were $65 a pair. I saw them today for $100 pair, rip off, lol.

I'm recycling a set of Infinity Kappa components up front and they're definately smaller than the Alpines.

I used two sets of speaker adapters from these guys:

I needed to be careful how they were clocked since the door opening isn't concentric with the bolt pattern. Paying attention got me the results I needed, but the wire connections are still pretty close, but won't touch.

Up front, you'll need to be careful of the window clearance, but I belive you could get them to go.
