Lol. I had the sound shield added by the dealer as it was part of my extended warranty. My cabin noise in the city and on the freeway is minimal. My relatives more expensive cars have more road noise then my Versa. My last tank I got almost 29 mpg. Almost all city with ac and no special way of driving. Lol.

I'm at 267 miles with one click left to the halfway mark... this puts me on pace for close to a 475 tank IF I continue to do mostly highway...

Wow! That's pretty good.
Since my last fill up, I've used 1/4 tank and have 130kms on it. Not too bad for all city, with a/c.

Wow 570kms. Canadian info right? Do you just drive highway? Are you driving a stick? I'm pretty happy considering I mostly drive in the city to get to work.

It was done by my dealership before I picked I up. That's why I had to wait a few days before I could pick her up. It was included with the car because I extended my warranty. So they did the sound shield, rust inhibitor, paint protection and fabric protection. He car smelt funny at pick up but it was only because of all the things that were sprayed before pick up.

I hear no road noise in my car. Honestly all I hear is the whistling noise from my hood deflector. I can keep my stereo on a really low setting and I can hear it perfectly. That's why I love driving my car because it is smooth to drive and extremely quiet. And I have no crackling or creaking so I have no complaints. You could ask your dealership about the cost. I honestly have
no clue because it was given to me as part of my warranty.

No problem. I extended to 7 years as the regular warranty wasn't very much. So my dad said I should just pay to extend it.

I'm probably gonna end at 350-380 miles. This sucks.

I need to fill up with fuel ... maybe tomorrow. I am almost on empty, but the light is not on yet.

So far I have 440kms on this tank. It's pretty much all city now, with A/C.

Honestly I would disregard this tank. If your next one is just as bad then I would worry. That is the lowest tank I have ever seen out of a 1.6 and that is including journalists who wrote reviews on the 1.6.

I thought JL had a 1.8?

Yeah I know the feeling. Have to pay back the student loans ... I'm in the process of paying them off ... it's getting there!

Question for johnlocke: where do you put fuel? What station?

Reason I ask is because last week when I was in buffalo I filled up at exon (I think) and so far this is one of my best tanks. I have over 400kms on this tank and I have over a quarter tank left. I have never had that before. Is this dependent on where one gets fuel? Because my driving habits have not changed.

Normally I fill up at Canadian Tire which is a big company here in Canada. The main reason I fill up there is because it is beside the bank that I work at. So it's easier to fill up there before getting on the expressway.

I might try filling up at Sunoco next time. I always used to take my Accent there, but then once the CT gas bar opened up beside our branch, I just started going there with the Versa.

When I got home from work today, I had 465kms with a 1/4 still left I now know how you feel about the gas mileage. It is a good feeling !

Question. When your fuel light comes on how many kms can you still get? My light just came on but I want to try a different gas station closer to home. I live about 15 kms away from work. Will I have enough to get home?
