Just took home my Blue Note s yesterday. I got this for a work car so I will not have to drive my new Mustang on the crappy streets of Chicago. I learned long ago never to use automotive publications when it comes to reviews of economy cars. My Note handles, rides, and operates very nicely. Mine was made in March of 2014 and I like it a lot more than the Fit I test drove. The larger diameter wheels are a big plus for the battlefields of Chicago. I swore I'd never buy a Mexican built car but I really miss having a small hatchback and there are few choices in America. I'm giving it a shot. Back seat will be removed shortly.
Welcome and congratulation on the note,I would not be to worried about the car being Mexican built as nissan has been building cars there for far longer than any manufacturer.my note was built in June of 2013 and I bought it the very next month after it was built and to this day is a very solid and reliable car with close to 16,000 miles on the clock now so I hope you are as happy with yours as I am mine

The worst I'e ever seen. The sad thing is the technology exists to end this problem but it doesn't pay off the right people so we stick to our old inferior ways. When I got our 350Z the first thing I did was replace my 18" stockers with 17" wheels and higher profile tires, this made the car much more pleasant. I'm surprised how well the Note rides, nothing like the reviews said. Thanks for the welcome.

and that sir, is why most of us dont listen to these idiot magazine reviewers that complain about everything in an economy car....cause they are used to the luxury of BMW's, porsche's, and Mercede's that they review on a more common basis than the cars the rest of us normal folk drive. i mean my god, it wasnt that long ago back in the 80's that sports cars were lucky to achieve a 0-60mph of 7 seconds and 1g of lateral grip on a skid pad and .79g or lower for a sports car was considered good or excellent handling and the Note achieves a .76g on the instrumented tests that car and driver did a while back, but yet it gets down rated because it "handles sloppily" according to all the publications and is "lacking in power"...hell, even in the early 90's you were hard pressed to find a car with more than 300HP at the crank....sometimes i wonder what goes through the heads of the guys at these magazines and if they ever think about what it was like in the not to distant past lol
