For the 2007 Versa, the parts store recommended HD Expert Extra (50/50 mixed) which is pale yellow. The old coolant that came out was green. It is ok to use as a replacement without a flush?

What does the owner's manual recommend for a 2007 Versa?

Most likely if it had standard green stuff in there, that would be fine to continue using.

My 2015 recommends the blue long life stuff. I was able to get it at walmart.

It's probably ok, but a good rule of them is to stick with the same color. The green stuff that came out is the older stuff which has been replaced with the long life blue. Blue is backwards compatible and they can be mixed together, with the idea that if the long life is 10 year 100k then a 50/50 mix of green and blue would make that 5 years 50k.

There have been "universal" coolants out for a while now and I remember reading an article in Motor Age magazine that said that it's not possible.
