Anyone install Factory Accessory Fog Light Kit on their Note?

I researched the installation of the Factory Fog Light Kit PN 999L1-4Z000 for a Versa Note and it appears to be fairly straight forward although I have one question.

Does the body computer need to be reprogrammed to allow the proper operation of the fog lamps once the installation is complete? The installation instructions PDF does not mention it but it shows a schematic that the wiring goes through the body computer module.

A while ago I installed a similar kit on my Jeep and that required a dealer reprogram to enable the fog lamps to function.

Amazon.com: Genuine Nissan (999L1-4Z000) Fog Lamp Kit: Automotive

i ordered one since i need the stalk and wirings
since you bought this kit from amazon what came in the kit? the description for the product is non existent... thank you
i'll try to take a pic for you of what is included tomorrow... package came last week but been busy with other stuff
that would be great if you could provide a pic, thank you
Here are some pics of the package.
thanks for the pics.. perfect, you have convinced me to order a set for my wife...
So I finally found the time to install my Fog Lamp Kit (PN 999L1-4Z000) and boy what an ordeal. I must be getting old for this. I guess it wasn't all that bad only two broken tabs, a small cut on one hand, and a whole bunch of scratches on my arms.

Since most of the body parts are just snapped together, this was the most difficult part of the project, not knowing if you are going to break anything while you pull things apart. It took a lot of patience to get it done.

The Nissan PDF instructions I found from the web were not too descriptive and in most cases the car is not symmetrical. Accessibility on the right side was much easier than on the left.

Overall, it turned out great, even got a surprise new feature for my wipers.

TOOK ME OVER 3 HOURS JUST TO GET TO THIS POINT

BACK SIDE OF RADIATOR FRONT COVER

BACK SIDE OF GRILL

CLOSE UP OF GRILL ATTACHING POINTS ON BUMPER

RIGHT SIDE DONE

BOTH SIDES DONE, GRILL REINSTALLED

As I mentioned in another posting, the kit came with Variable Time Intermittent Wiper Feature which I was not expecting at all.
thank you for the pics, i was working on my wife's note sv i hopes of installing the nissan fog kit from amazon and i ran into some issues that i was hoping you could answer.. first off, you were right about the difficulty and time it takes in just removing the grill and over from the bumper, especially with out breaking anything...
can i ask to make sure, the amazon kit, is it compatible with the Note SV model? the reason i ask is in my next frustration, i couldn't find the wiring i was suppose to for the fog lights that the instructions mention.. please any guidance, pics or comments would help greatly... thanks
If you have a SV model, it should already pre-wired in your car. Plugs should already be equipped. Both jas32 and I have a SV model as well and these models are prewired.. unless you have a S model
I haven't done mine yet but it should be straight forward..
thank you for the reply, my wife's car is an SV model. like i mentioned i could not find them..
be aware that the removal of the front grill and upper cover is very frustrating to remove...
Estebinbin, I forgot to mention, if I remember right, the pigtail connector you are looking for is part of the wiring harness for the driver side headlight. I think what I did was to trace the wires going to the headlight and found the connector there.
thank you for the reply, with my next try i hope i can find it and don't run into any other issues.. the grill and cover are just such a pain to remove without breaking the tabs...
actually is there any other advice, suggestions or warning you could provide on this installation?
No wiring on the 2015

So I tried once to install the fog light kit and was not able to finish cause I could not find the wiring that is suppose to exist to plug into. Time has passed and I never have time so on my wife last free oil change for her 2015 Note SV I haggled with them to install the kit for me.
They informed me that the 2015 SV is not pre wired so they could not do it.
Can anyone back this up please?
