Anyone install Factory Accessory Fog Light Kit on their Note?

I researched the installation of the Factory Fog Light Kit PN 999L1-4Z000 for a Versa Note and it appears to be fairly straight forward although I have one question.

Does the body computer need to be reprogrammed to allow the proper operation of the fog lamps once the installation is complete? The installation instructions PDF does not mention it but it shows a schematic that the wiring goes through the body computer module.

A while ago I installed a similar kit on my Jeep and that required a dealer reprogram to enable the fog lamps to function.

Hey everybody.......thanks for all the information. I know this is an older thread, however, I just purchased a VERSA Note SV and would like to also look into adding fog lights. No one has mentioned the wiper installation part that I've seen? Did you have to take the steering wheel off? How was that installed? Thanks.

Greg
Also interested in this, do you just unscrew the part (yoke) behind the steering wheel and snap/plug in the new part?

if anyone is still interested, amazon has it on sale for $164 shipped no tax
Amazon.com: Genuine Nissan (999L1-4Z000) Fog Lamp Kit: Automotive

i ordered one since i need the stalk and wirings
That link now takes you to Amazon link quoting $54.69

Mind you if that comes with the new stalk w\variable windshield wiper settings and the brackets it might be worth it. (I could run my own wires/switch... which begs the question I think there is a blank new to my rear view mirror, is there a factory switch that fits that hole?)

I had factory fogs on my last couple of cars and wouldn't shell out $200 for the addition... however some driving lights might be worth it.
