Reading and digesting all these hurdles folks seem to be encountering on this particular install only stiffens my fortitude to accomplish this task, come hell or high water, lol.
Mine shipped out today, heading my way, so I reckon' I'll get my chance to "swing the bat" next week sometime.
This is my wifes' car, and hoping it goes smoothly. If not, I suppose she might need to fire up our John Deere to get to work. :grin

I got busy with other things so I was not able to order the fog lamp kit yet however, I saw it being sold for less than $200 + shipping at nissannewparts.com which is actually a Nissan dealer in Texas.

According to this instructions:
http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/asistgc_1/diskdocs/1/U/A/1UA14.PDF
the kit (with the part number I noted earlier) contains everything needed to install.

I'll let you know if I finally get to it!
Thanks for the PDF you provided jas32.
I ordered my kit from Tasco 3 days ago, and received notification from the USPS tracking to expect receiving it tday.
That was fast, imo, from Rhode Island to North Carolina !!! :smile

I am started on this project right now. I had to take a break due to the frustration of all of the plastic crap. I haven't even gotten the top radiator cover off yet. Each time I try to pull it off, it feels like there's too much tension and it feels like the damned plastic tabs are going to break. I may abandon this project, as it's going to be more expensive when/if I start busting plastic tabs. This should be such a simple task, but all of the plastic nonsense is making this way more difficult than it needs to be. :mad5:
I feel your pain, now.
Took me almost an hour to remove the top rad cover carefully, and this grille with the Nissan emblem is a booger-bear. :frown

Well, long story made short, I took the front of my wifes' 2015 Versa Note Plus apart, and sure enough, no connector wired for the "plug & play" on those fog light kits.
Not to worry, where there's a will, there's a way.
I took the harness that came in the kit and modified it, snipping off the OEM connector that would normally just click right on to the empty receiving end of the factory bundle behind the driver side headlight and attached an aftermarket plug.
This allows me to run from the other mating side of that plug to a ground source and the hot side (black wire) to a 20A fuse, and from there tie into the ignition wiring.
This automatically turns on the fog lights when the engine is running and allows the fog lights to act as DRL's (daytime running lights) also.
I'm thinking I'll get the opportunity to install this kit, with mods to the kit harness tomorrow.
I'll be sure to take some pics and post them for reference in case anyone else decides to go this same route.

OK folks, here's the final results of the fog light install on my wifes' 2015 Nissan Versa Plus model.
All told, it was about a 4 hour project, as I was taking the time to carefully remove everything without breaking anything.
I have the benefit of having a 6,000 pound vehicle lift in my shop to help make things a bit easier also.
Before raising it on the lift, I opened the hood, found the fusebox compartment ( all the way towards the driver side firewall, found the ignition wire, a small red wire ) using a test light to make sure it only energized with car running, tied into that wire using a "clamp style" electrical piggybank, ran 3' of loose wire from that point, to tie into the modified harness and a 20A fuse before the actual kit harness.
Raised the car up, took the wheels off to gain less restricted movement to remove a bunch of push-clips and #20 torx screws about 3/4 of the way from the front of the car towards the rear, pulled the fenderwell guard back out of the way, installed the brackets that house the lights, installed the lights connected the kit harness, zip-tied the enclosed wiring tight to the car and out of the way of anything that moves, buttoned her back up, lowered he car and completed the tie-in from the loose wire I had left running to the ignition, covered the new wiring with the same corrugated plastic wire cover all manufacturers use (bought a roll at auto parts store), cranked her up and verified new fog lights, and all existing lighting worked properly, and called it a day.
I'll install the new stalk with the intermittent wiper feature later today and test it to be sure the computer picked up the signal.
I'll keep you all posted if the new "stalk" works as it should on this particular "Plus model".
Meanwhile, here's a pic of the end result. Enjoy!
P.S. Thanks go out to jas32 for suggesting using the ignition tie-in.

I have a 2015 Note SV, with the upgraded interior and radio backup camera etc. As far as I know its the SV. From the factory, only the Sr and SL have fog lights.

I bought the Kit for 50$ from Tasca Parts FOG LIGHTS for 2014 Nissan Versa|999L1-4Z000

I followed the PDF instructions from Nissan. The interior steering column levers were really easy. I did not even disconnect the battery. The levers came with the upgraded variable wipers.

Removing the front grill was slow and painful but if you are consistent you can do it. Its all clip on, but also structurally a car, so dont expect ti to come off so easy.

The firs thing was removing the front cover. The top has 5 press on clips which are easy. The stick your hand and find the place where the cover meets the grill. the tabs are held in by the bottom grill in a lock type configuration. Just use a tiny screw driver or something ( use your imagination) and pull on the cover tabs. The tabs clip "downwards" so the come off upwards. And the force to unclip them should be to the back of the car. so use your fingers or some metal object to forcefully pull them back, while pulling the cover upwards. The problem is the grill has another tab right there, which prevent the cover tabs from moving back. Look at them, inspect them and do your best.

The grill is another story on its own. Remove the little clips on the side by the "service holes" and flat head screw driver. then remove the radiator black plastic cover for better access. The grill tabs go in to the back, and come out "front wards" but they clip on "downwards". So in order to disengage the clip you must press the clip tooth "upwards" while pulling the grill to the front of the car. these tabs are much bigger and softer material than the top cover, so you can stick your hand in there and blindly feel the tab. Push the center of the tab upwards, then pull the grill to the front. The tabs clip on to the bumper. In the center, the bumper has 2 black press on clips, remove these and under that piece of bumper you will find 2 more clips for the front grill. Also keep in mind that the grill is slightly larger than the clearance of the headlights, so they will kind of jam. Easily bend the grill to squeeze it out in between them.

On the right side, there is another radiator panel, which is more difficult to remove and install back, but I think it is necessary to work on it. As a previous member pointed out, it is a lot easier to remove the tire for better access. both from the side as well as lifting the car and working underneath. ALWAYS SECURE THE CAR WHEN GOING UNDERNEATH!!!

After all this work you find out that if you have a 2015 Note, you're fucked. Yes you are. You see I woke up today on my saturday at 8am and diligently ate breakfast and coffee then got out on Florida's 99deg Fahrenheit(i have a thermostat on the garage) to work on this, 4hrs later, I also ended up removing the driver side headlight for better access as well as the battery.

I checked the entire harness, every single corner. Then I took come of the tape from the wire loom and counted the wires and colors, and traced them to their locations. I removed the intake too. I traced every wire to every fuse. Thats when I realized there was no Fog Light Fuse. there is no fuse and the fuse place doesnt have contacts either. So if you place a fuse, the current goes nowhere because there is no wire. I also opened up the Relay box, which contains the Fog light relay and fan relays. There was 2 relays, as per description, However, the wires coming out the "fog lights" relay were FAR TOO SMALL to take any significant current. I'm a electronic Technician of 8 yrs, And about to finish my Bachelors in Electrical Engineering. I know what I'm talking about. I also tried to turn on the fog lights, and feeling the relay. nothing. NADA.

No fuse, No wires, No Relay, No connector. Nissan decided to Fuck everyone who doesnt pay up for 1 fuse 1 relays and 10 ft of wire. Sorry but I dont think you will find it if you have a 2015 model. I spent 7 hrs today and never found it. The circuit doesnt exist.

So whats next? I can wire them to the headlights with a relay so they run all the time with headlights.....But what about that cute switch in the signal lever?...well I managed to open the old combination switch ( the levers) and saw that the connection for the fog lights exist inside even when the switch is not there. Also the time delay wiper circuit resides inside this box, not outside.

So I will find which pin from the connector send the signal to turn on the relay. If the cable exist, follow the cable possibly to the control module. then either bypass it with a relay to the fog lights, or find the out wire of the control module. either way. they're going in!!!

Sorry you had to go through the painful process just to find out the wires are not there. Nissan probably decided to cheapen the wiring for 2015.

So the bottom line is the fog lamp kit will only work on the 2014 Note SV. Any other model year or lower trim level, you have to wire your own.

At least the adjustable time interval delay front wipers work. That by itself is worth $50 to me.

Maybe this wiring change is the reason Nissan cut the fog light price by 75% or so. They know it's only good for a small number or people now. Lucky for me I have a '14 SV, but I lack the time to tear it apart right now. :frown If anyone bought this kit, and wishes to re-sell it PM me.

I also have a 2015 Note SV and am looking to do the fog light addition.

I opened up my fuse box and I am also missing the Fog Light Fuse (supposed to be the last fuse on the lower right). However, it looks like there are fuse contacts in the slot.

Does this look like what you found on your SV?

I'm trying to figure out if I have a chance at this install or if I'm in the same boat as you.

Is this an update on this fog light kit? Is there a newer kit?

I have a 2015 Versa Note SV, no fog lights installed. The bumper having the cutout is extremely fugly.

I see the kit for $65 on Amazon, and the description does say 2014-2015 Versa... is that simply an error?

I finally had the chance to do mine today. This is a 2014 Note SV. My OEM fog harness is actually tied to the front crash bar toward the inside, and there's no way to get to it unless front grill cover and grill is removed.

It was very frustrated to remove this grill... all the plastic clips broke no matter how careful i was. Oh well!

does anyone know if the new switch will work on the 2014 note s to make the variable feature work for the wipers? i have been putting off getting fog lights for 2.5 years now, and i really want to get it done sooner than not. the price has come down to a reasonable price now i see so it's time to jump on a set of oem or aftermarkets.

The bulbs are H11.
I installed my fatory fog light sytem yesterday on my 14 SV. I did almost all of it from beneth, with the wheels hanging free. I removed the hard plastic panel, and the soft rubber lower lip.
The wire for the factory connector on mine was tucked into the small hole that is between the driver's side bumper support, and the shuttered grill assembly. I forced my hand into the space, and pulled the wire connector back out of the ole with two fingers. The hole is only about 1.5 Inch square. It is a TOUGH job. But, I was afraid of breaking the grill clips. It migh havebeen easier with a pair of the double jointed needle nose pliers.
After all of that, I still don't have the lights working. I opted to install a pair of Hella micro DE HID driving lights into the factory Nissan fog lights. I might have the power to the HID transformers backwards, ut for now I an lettng my wrists heal a while.
Just wanted to post that it is possible to reach the curssed wire connector from below.

No wiring on the 2015

So I tried once to install the fog light kit and was not able to finish cause I could not find the wiring that is suppose to exist to plug into. Time has passed and I never have time so on my wife last free oil change for her 2015 Note SV I haggled with them to install the kit for me.
They informed me that the 2015 SV is not pre wired so they could not do it.
Can anyone back this up please?

What about the windshield wiper installation?

Hey everybody.......thanks for all the information. I know this is an older thread, however, I just purchased a VERSA Note SV and would like to also look into adding fog lights. No one has mentioned the wiper installation part that I've seen? Did you have to take the steering wheel off? How was that installed? Thanks.

Same thing with me. Last trip into the dealer ship I asked about the fog light set and they told me it couldn't be installed because the SV was not wired for fog lights. Looks like I'm gonna have to pull my grill off and get my lazy butt down there and look.

Also interested in this, do you just unscrew the part (yoke) behind the steering wheel and snap/plug in the new part?

if anyone is still interested, amazon has it on sale for $164 shipped no tax
Amazon.com: Genuine Nissan (999L1-4Z000) Fog Lamp Kit: Automotive

i ordered one since i need the stalk and wirings
That link now takes you to Amazon link quoting $54.69

Mind you if that comes with the new stalk w\variable windshield wiper settings and the brackets it might be worth it. (I could run my own wires/switch... which begs the question I think there is a blank new to my rear view mirror, is there a factory switch that fits that hole?)

I had factory fogs on my last couple of cars and wouldn't shell out $200 for the addition... however some driving lights might be worth it.

Were you able to get the new wiper stalk/switch to work? I have a 2014 Note S Plus and am looking into this upgrade.
