I did some shopping today. Landed the deal of deals!

17" SE-R rims with 215/45ZR17 BFG g-Force tires, for $400! They all got curb rash and scuffs but I'm gonna get them powder coated. Dunno whether to do gloss white or matte bronze.

Then I upgraded to a new 12" Audiobahn sub and bandpass box for $40. Hits hard and smooth.

thats a good price for the white. Kinda of steep for the bronze. Thats why i decided to do them myself probably will come out sloppy but ill try if not i can always pay some one to fix my mistakes.
I spray canned my rims for my civic too, I used the Duplicolor 3 Step kit, primer, base, and clear.

Paint stripped them and wire brushed the curb rash.

Then 2 coats of black primer, 3 coats of bronze base, and 2 coats of clear.

Final product

UPDATE!

Brought my wheels to work.

Dismounted all of them.

Tough ass reinforced 45 series sidewalls!

Ready for paint stripping.

I did a balance check with the rims alone. Only 1 that's off by 2oz, the rest are within 1oz. More to come.

looks great keep it up you doing the door trim as well?
Yes Ill get the door trim painted when I get new speakers later on.

Love it. I almost went with the plasti-dip route, but thought painting it would look nicer. (its cheaper too) I cant find plasti-dip local, so i'd have to order it for $12 a can
Up here its $15 a can :S I got a deal on mine though $13.50 each when I bought 6.

Looks great Aaron!
Thanks Ashley! I work at 4 BTW on Mon.

Looks good man! Did you remove the pieces to paint them?
Yes I pried out the center console and dash. For the steering wheel and pass side dash, I painted them from inside the car lol. Took a lot of masking but came out good. About 3 coats.

lookin slick Aaron! pretty damn good job! :)

btw where did you get your plasti-dip? did you order it or did you find it at like home depot or something?
Thanks Matt, I bought the PD at Performance Improvements. The closest one to you would be in Oshawa. For the 6pk deal came to $91.50 with tax.
