I did some shopping today. Landed the deal of deals!

17" SE-R rims with 215/45ZR17 BFG g-Force tires, for $400! They all got curb rash and scuffs but I'm gonna get them powder coated. Dunno whether to do gloss white or matte bronze.

Then I upgraded to a new 12" Audiobahn sub and bandpass box for $40. Hits hard and smooth.

That would be a great price but if it was for all four wheels. I can get nicer wheels for less than that. As a matter of fact I can get Nismo wheels for that much.

I mean I know that everything OEM is expensive specially when it's from the manufacturer but come on, it's ebay.

The sub is great, I turned the port towards the seat and dropped the 40 side forward, lets the bass fill the cabin.

I'm taking the wheels to work on Wednesday, gonna remove the tires so I can strip the paint off the rims. They're gonna be painted bronze. Gonna update this thread with step by step.

UPDATE!

Brought my wheels to work.

Dismounted all of them.

Tough ass reinforced 45 series sidewalls!

Ready for paint stripping.

I did a balance check with the rims alone. Only 1 that's off by 2oz, the rest are within 1oz. More to come.

2012 Season Prep

Got my wheels powdercoated and tires mounted yesterday

Gonna install the new struts, shocks and pads next weekend

The six spoke once look pretty sexy too when painted in the right color. But these look extra sexy with the new tires lol.
