Were you close to empty?

I've noticed that it seems if I am near empty that I'll lose a bit of power. I believe the vehicle goes into a more fuel conscious mode at that point.

Hard to believe they would have such a feature just for fuel economy (talk about potential lawsuit issues), this would be unique to Nissan if this is the case, but I guess anything is possible.
