Welcome to the forums. Glad to see another 1.6! My Versa looks just like that but silver. I see you debadged it and painted the trunk trim. Nice wheels too. Auto or manual?

I hear you, I wanted white or black but they didn't have neither one in manual and I really wanted manual so I got silver. Do you have any more plans for yours?

Sounds good. I see you painted the trunk trim. Or is it plastidipped? I thought about doing the same and painted my trunk trim but I liked it better black so I painted it black.

I had it painted at a body shop for about $125. I figured if I did it while the car was brand new it'd probably match perfectly, and it does. Honestly I'm not a fan of all the black plastic all over. I believe it makes the car look cheap (which the car was). But since the windows and rims are black I think it's not quite so bad. The change I've made from stock to now is quite dramatic and I'm always getting compliments. Most people don't believe that the car was $11,000 brand new. The three months after purchasing it I got tints, rims, and stereo which were another $2700 probably. I only owe $6000 and it's got 22,000 miles on it so all in all, I think I have a nice looking, reliable car for the near future. I've driven it to Branson MO, Wisconsin Dells WI, Daytona FL, and Key West FL and my family doesn't complain about anything. Reasonably smooth ride and 33.5 mpg on the highway with a full car. Sounds good to me.
I agree about black plastic looking cheap but I don't mind it. I'm glad you're happy with yours. I purchased mine new in 2010, just passed 36K, and no complaints so I'm very happy. I have SL wheels, and just installed TEIN springs so I like it that much more. We should have a Versa meet if you're ever in Florida again.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I've done a few things to it(looks and sound). Shocks are factory. Roads here are mostly taken care of and no snow(no salt) so my shocks have ways to go.

Yes it is. Took about 4 hours but we weren't rushing at all. Wanted to make sure we did everything right so we took our time. We also ate and drank in between so we had a good time.
