I just replaced the headlight bulbs in my 2010 Versa HB. I opted for the Phillips set from Amazon for $10 instead of the Sylvania set for $40. Let me tell you, the Phillips lights make a big difference and I am able to see further and wider. I think the factory headlights are basic and dim over time. Anyway, I've heard good things about both bulbs you are asking about.
You could also go with a hid kit for your headlights. But then again you would need a pair of projecter headlights which may be pricy but offer the best results. I have stock lights and my hids shine really bright. Better then the Sylvania xenon bulbs I had
I had sylvania bulbs in my versa they lasted about a month, Ive had the same sylvania bulbs in my 200sx for about 8 years with no problems.
I had a Nissan 200sx and I installed hids xenon but I don't really see the difference aside the color.

But I purchased a $60 xenon kit, I think because they were cheaper they were not good.

That's why I dont know if is better to just install a sylvania or phillips instead of cheaper xenon kit :)

You don't see any difference because it is in the wrong type of headlight housing. All it does is blind people when HID's are in halogen housings instead of projectors.

With that being said, anything (HID bulb/color) above 5000k bulbs will continue to put out less lumens. So anything that is blue, green, or purple is going to offer far less light output than standard halogens. 4300k is going to be the brighest/cleanest/whitest light.

Dump the HID's. Just get Sylvania Silverstars.
Now I understand, thank you so much for the info versa12!

It seems that I'll buy sylvania or phillips and check them out!

regards
So the Phillips bulbs are better than sylvania bulbs?
In General, "Made in Germany" halogen bulbs are better than USA halogen bulbs.

Osram/Phillips/some Hella are made in Germany. The best automotive halogen bulbs come from Germany, Japan and the U.S.

Look at the packaging and description. Many better brands of halogen bulbs will have a general estimate as to how many hours they will last.

Amazon has headlight bulbs by GE and they have a crazy amount of life hours. I think 8+ whereas some Sylvanias are only 150. Ive replaced every single light on my wifes Hyundai multiple times and I am getting tired of constantly checking them bc they burn out so fast. After I check the grounds, I will be ordering GE headlights for her car as well as other smaller bulbs. The price is about the same as other brands too.
I would like to up grade my bulb which way to go Phillips or
