I read the same breaking in instructions in my new versa's manual. We got it mainly for our daughter to drive back to school (a four hour drive on the interstate) and she will be leaving in a week. But we only have about 200 miles on it right now, not near 1200 yet. How bad will it be if she drives it back before the break in period is over?
