I recently had to change the a/c compressor and it's been working great. Blows nice cold air.

But in the last few days the blower motor has been acting up.
While driving it will be fine, then all of a sudden lose power and there will be almost no air coming out of the vents. The air is still ice cold and the compressor looks good when it happens.
When it happens you can hear the blower motor and it sounds like an electric motor struggling and about to burn out.

I took the blower motor out and it looks fine, spins freely etc...

Does it sound like a bad blower motor or something else causing this?

FYI the problem happens on any fan setting and all fan settings still work.
