I recently got back from Christmas break for two weeks and I had to leave my Versa home for the time I was away, keeping in mind with the cold weather/not being started, when I got home I started it right away and drove it around town for a little while to warm her up.
As I was driving, I started noticing that when I would apply the brakes to stop in traffic/traffic lights, there would be a slight squeaking/chirping noise coming from the brakes/engine (I'm not sure which) when the car was idle. The noise was not overly loud, just barely noticeable and it would stop when I took my foot off of the brake.
Could this be simply from not being driven for two weeks and the cold? Or is this something to be concerned about?
:confused5:
Does anyone know what I am talking about/have any experience?
Thanks in advance!
By the way, I am going to the dealer for my first service check up at 3,200mi (going early before 3,750mi for convenience) so maybe they will let me know if anything is out of the ordinary.
