Here's what happens when you smack a bad rut too hard

Broke both front suspension coil springs :( ouch
Replaced stabilizer links too. Brakes inspected, declared okay :smilejap:
Front end a little ummm taller now

Holy Crap!! Thats shitty man! Did you upgrade them or just go with factory springs again? My rule is if something breaks put in something better, haha. Winnipeg is pothole city too, so that worries me.

How much did all the new parts run you?

Went with factory springs again, to keep height for winter etc. Will check bill for price.
edit All in just under $900 incl alignment, labour and taxes

damn that is crazy. I might pickup someone used springs just keep as a backup. I aim for ruts in my Versa LOL

Also for my next car, maybe I'll get something known for better aftermarket choices.
For my Sentra, I even got a MAF sensor aftermarket, nearly half price and outlasted the factory unit!

Nice, I know Jet Performance has a MAF replacement for the Versa that I was looking at if and when I get a new intake.

This is why I keep my OEM parts when swap out for after-market. Just in case something like that happens.

aha i could've shopped around a bit for someone who removed their stock springs.
could've tried the wreckers too but that's a bit iffy sometimes.
also time was not on my side. now if i had a spare/mid-life crisis car i could be more leisurely with my choices lol

we should have a forum parts car. Let's all chip in and buy one. Then if we need a part just take it from that. LOL
