I was sick and tired of the wimpy stock horn, so I purchased a set of Cadillac four note horns off of eBay. I ran 12ga wire to an inline 30 amp ATM fuse, then to a 40 amp relay. The stock horn wires were connected across the coil (terminals 85, 86), the battery power to terminal 30, and the power to the horns on 87. The set of horns I got were two wire, so the brown wires were tied in parallel to 87, and the greens went to ground. For some reason, the horns shorted out when mounted to metal, so I had to make arm out of an old high density plastic Bass Pro cutting board. Wire loomed it all up and mounted two horns on either side of the latch mechanism. Works great and the lock "beep" is short enough that you don't get a 120 dB full blast.
