I have a 2011 1.8 l and it was really easy I did my cat and it was the four bolts two on each side of the converter itself and there's one small piece of metal cross bracket underneath the front part of converter to remove and that's it you don't have to remove anything else I put mine up on ramps in my driveway and did the catalytic converter just be extremely cautious and maybe even replace your ignition coils just to be safe with your spark plugs because the day after I caught a cylinder to misfire and I'm pretty positive I burnt it up especially if you bought a cheaper one like I bought one off RockAuto for $300 Walker brand OEM replacement and it only worked right for about a day best part is it's been hell trying to diagnose it because I haven't had any check engine lights
