did you try tightening it or seeing if it was stripped
Looks like you either didn't wipe the pan clean after an oil change or it's starting to leak.
The sooner the better, that could get really bad, if it drops while driving, you dont want that or the catastrophic failure the car could indureSaturday I will jack up the car and see if I can tighten it down. I find it hard to believe that would be like that.
ohh that is old oil when I forgot to put the oil cap back on after I checked the oil, I kept smelling oil thru my AC vents... I opened the hood, and saw oil all over the motor, It did get a little low and good thing there was a gas station near by and was able to add the oil back on. cannot remember what came up that made me forget. so that oil cap is not there for nothing. i will keep an eye to that oil pan gasket and make sure it is not leaking oil out or anything so thanks for the feedback :thumb2:Looks like you either didn't wipe the pan clean after an oil change or it's starting to leak.
that's cool, just so everyone knows, it is located on the passanger side wheel, close to the wheel axelOkay guys/gals go get a picture of the same area of you car and I will bring it to the attention of Nissan NA.
