I have had this since April of 2013 when I bought it used to just get me to work and back. I love it. However, ever since I joined the forum I have had the itch to not leave it stock. My wife isn't as interested in the idea so I get to things slowly. So far I have: tinted the windows, added a rear bumper guard, tinted the rear lights, added a "VERSA" decal to the 3rd brake light and got some new rims. Eventually I hope to get into the engine bay and get some Fog lights (those plastic covers drive me nuts!) but for now this will have to do.

Welcome. Nice to see another Canuck join. Good job with the mods.

As a fyi, we are having a meetup and cruise for greater Toronto area members next week October 19th. Check out the posting October GTA cruise for more info or PM me if interested. No costs and should be fun.

I like the versa decal on the brake light. when illuminated at night can you actually make out the lettering? Those lightly tinted tails make me want to do mine.

The brake light decal is just OK (got it off ebay). I find that the light is so bright that its hard to make it out clearly. I have been toying with the idea of doubling up on it and making sure the decal covers the entire light. Light seeping out the sides floods the eyes.
I think my favourite part so far are the tinted tails - not too dark.

Yup. Lots of videos online on how to do it properly. I did two coats of tint. If were to do it again, I would have spent more time doing the light sanding after the clear coat followed by a more intense application of the rubbing compound. I think I just got lazy at the end and so the lights are not as glossy as I would have liked.

A little more...

Finally got around to a few more small things. used Plasti-dip on the rear emblem and I think it looks good - can't decide if I should do the "VERSA" or just remove it and just leave the blacked-out emblem. Also, added the window visors - they are Nissan parts (they were a gift). They were very easy to install.

Dip the lettering, that'll look sharp. Try shading the background in the logo, or the logo lettering too. You have nice subtle touches going on there
