I hear a clattering/clunking/grinding sound when I turn the wheel on my 2014 note. It has about 38k miles on it. Is there something I should check? The tire pressure looks good.

I also have a 2014 Note. I haven't had a grinding sound when turning the steering wheel but I did feel and hear a "click" when I turned the steering wheel in either direction. I took it to the dealer and they said that a piece of rubber got caught inside the steering column so they replaced the whole steering column, including the steering wheel, under warranty (just barely; my car had about 35,200 miles at the time. This was about 2 weeks ago).

I need to go back to the dealer because the wheel is slightly off-center. The wheel is turned slightly to the left, maybe 5-10 degrees, when the car is driving straight. Also, when I turn it all the way to the left, it turns a full 1.5 turns but it turns slightly less going all the way to the right, maybe 1.45 turns. Prior to the replacement, the wheel turned equally in both directions, maybe 1.475 turns.

I'm listening to it more closely now. It's more like a creak, like when the break calipers engage. Is that possible that it's just a simple thing like the caliper making noise?
