My versa has 42,000 miles on it. It is a 2009. Yesterday I was driving in a city with some stop and go traffic and afew hills. Next thing I knew I heard my clutch slipping when I was trying to accelerate up a hill?? I backed off the throttle acouple minutes and it hasn't done it since?? What's up with this?

Prolly overheated the poor clutch. I had the same thing happen to me, intense stop and go, and steep hills.

I know im late about this but as far as i know clutch slip often took place when the clutch is excessively worn and you'll gonna know it if your clutch is slipping once you change the gear. Try lifting off the clutch pedal and notice the engine revs climb and the car doesn't pick up and sometimes it would turn higher than normal one.Anyway, there are available replacement clutch kit to choose from and everything would be accessible using an internet service.
There was a tsb for early versa's on premature clutch wear. Seems the input shaft would leak.
