I saw a bunch of Cubes parked in the VERY back of a Nissan dealer in Boulder while at work today. They probably did that so nobody could notice them easily and purchase right away. Still would like to get one, you can never have everything you want!
i love my versa...but when i see the cube...i really want one! lol
Shame we don't get the cube here :(

We do have the SOUL already though, but it's not exactly a big seller...
i wanted to trade my Versa in for a Cube... but my wife didnt want to...
i hate the soul. looks so weird and ugly. it kinda reminds me of like someone going on a safari drive in africa
And the cube doesn't? lol

I think they're both equally as nasty as the other :p
I love the cube! I hear the new cvt gets as good mileage as my 1.6 manual too. But it costs like 40% more. If price was equal I would have gone cube. I also like the soul. But I'm keeping my eye out on the next generation of cars. I can't wait to see the micra and the juke.
A Juke? You have to be kidding me, sounds more like a joke for a name

I don't mind the name. I'm sure it will get "joke" "puke" "duke". I drive a car called Versa so I have no room to talk. I prefer letters and numbers that mean something instead of stupid names that some idiots in suits sitting around a table came up with thinking it was a good name. For instance 370z. It's the successor in the Z lineup with a 3.7 liter engine. Or like any of the infiniti names.
I still love the Cube. I wish it had a bigger engine (more powerful) because then I think my dad would consider buying it in red.

Versa is a decent name, its short for versatile that has a meaning. People create names for a reason, and if the name is good, 'normally' it would sell more vehicles. I dont know if that's the case.

There's an article I read it mentioned about automotive companies coming up with animal names. For instance, VW called one of their SUVs the Tiguan, it's a mix of a tiger and iguana. Not sure why, but that's how they named it. Stupid if you ask me, stupid as it does. People should buy whatever vehicle they want regardless of the name but I happen to be opinionated.
the cubes are literally the exact same everything as the versa just a different body.
you could take off a complete versa body and put it on a cube frame and suspension and wheels and itd work just fine lol...
the cube is designed for college girls..

some prettty tripppy lights on the nice models though
the high end model cube is amazing...
ive driven a few at my work!

there not very fast though even with the same engine as the versa its strange..
nissan needs to update their designers.
I like the cube, but I like the Scion models (XB and XD) the design of both is more modern than the Cube.

The Soul is cute but is not for me ...
very good design, I have heard it has good performance.

I like the cube better then both of those. I think the upcoming juke has a scion style to it. It's definitely not the normal nissan.

Actually the only cars nissan makes that I'm not too keen on the looks is our beloved versa and the sentra. I really like every other car. The rogue is kinda iffy but the new krom one is hot.
See less See more
I love, love, LOVE the hamsters in the soul commercials, but I like the look of the cube more. I want to test drive one sometime so I can see how it handles.
Talk about a poor rendering job, you can barely see the damn thing.

It's called a teaser pic and it's released by nissan. They do that for every new model.
I would rather wait longer and see the entire vehicle than just half of it, not impressed.

Yeah I find them very annoying. When nissan does it with infiniti it's even worse. It's just two brush strokes showing the profile of the vehicle.
