Hey Ladies and Gents,

This is my first time on the board and I wanted to say it's good to have a group of people who own Nissan's, especially the Versa! I had a serious question about CVT transmission swapping to manual.

How much would it cost to swap a CVT Transmission for a Manual? (An estimate would suffice)
Also, is it a bad idea to swap transmissions for the sake of building your dream tuning car?

Gentlemen,

I appreciate the advice and I will take everything into account. Money is not a problem as I have excess to spend. Just making my dream car with the original car I bought. Creativity? Maybe... Awesomeness - YOU KNOW IT!

Hey guys,

I'm loving the input! I have about 50K stashed away in an account I like to call upgrade central. Haha, but, I will look into getting another car, transmission swap, and possibly continuing this journey with my Versa. Loving the discussion!

P.S. Should have gotten the six-speed, but, my parents bought the Versa as a graduating gift. Couldn't complain on a deal and steal. Good times! ;-)
