CVT Swap
Hey Ladies and Gents,
This is my first time on the board and I wanted to say it's good to have a group of people who own Nissan's, especially the Versa! I had a serious question about CVT transmission swapping to manual.
How much would it cost to swap a CVT Transmission for a Manual? (An estimate would suffice)
Also, is it a bad idea to swap transmissions for the sake of building your dream tuning car?

i'm about to ask jimmy if he can get me a turbo manifold next year...if this supercharger thing doesnt come out i figure i can do a turbo tuned for mpg :OThat be jimmy! Hahaha

i feel you on that one steph. just be careful with it. he spent alot of money. and still hasn't gotten out all the bugs. being there only a hand full of turbo mr out there and i think so far jimmy is the only high powered one out there. i know there is a few on cardomain but they not high powered though. it be nice to see a versa or sentra putting down some good numbersi'm about to ask jimmy if he can get me a turbo manifold next year...if this supercharger thing doesnt come out i figure i can do a turbo tuned for mpg :O
he also built it for big power, i just want some more pep and better mpg's...not building the engine or swapping the tranny lol.
