One of my drivers was walking past my car last night before work, and asked me where the dent came from. Well, I probably wash my car more than myself, so I would have noticed a dent/scrape/scratch. After some investigation, no marks were found, and I just waxed her last week and this wasn't there.
Ok, down to the details:
On the passenger front fender where the accent body line and the rolled out part of the wheel well meet (at about the 11 o'clock position of the wheel) there is a crease in the metal. Here's the interesting part, it is right in line with the shock tower. It's almost like I hit a hard bump or drove a little too "spirited" as they say. I am very careful with my car and hardly ever push it, and never to her limits. (Yes, my car is female. I really don't know why, just is.) So my question is has anyone else experienced this? Is our car strong enough to take the added stress of being lowered? Are sway bars a must at this point? Would those even make difference?
It's not out of the realm of possibilities that some nicked my car, but there is no paint damage, scrape, mark or any other evidence to point to this, and the crease is sooo perfect.
