Lost of things going on with this wonderful piece of art nissan decided to make. i have a 2013 Versa SV with 100k on it. as you could probably guess. the cvt failed. Or to be honest i dont even know whats wrong with it. sometimes when your driving below 30 the RPMS randomly accelerate for no reason and then it goes back down. SECOND PROBLEM: at highway speeds (65-75) the car doesn't accelerate anymore. you press on the gas and the car only redlines. (SUPER DANGEROUS ON A DAMN HIGHWAY) i live in vegas so you can probably guess how traffic is.

i remember i used to occasionally take her to an empty parking lot and swing it. YES. THE VERSA CAN GO SIDEWAYS. Kinda.....i would floor it, pull the ebrake and since the versa is so lightweight the front locks up and the rear slips out. Thats probably why its all &[email protected]%#* up now. Stupid. i know.

So, what you are saying is that you willfully tore your car up. It then proceeded to oblige you. Equal force meets equal force, the universe stays in balance.

They're awful cars and not worth major repairs. Just go buy a new anything else.
Yes, it being amazing that in todays' world of higher knowledge and engineering we seem to be going backwards in terms of durable longlife vehicles. Maybe it's because this is the last step before pure electric cars, which will bring massive problems on their own which have not been looked at other than to dismiss them entirely as non-existent. We'll see how wrong that one is before long and likely to throw this country for a loop.

The engineers have been warped inward to look for more money for the companies, they no longer look to fix the cars to be better than they were and they do everything possible to avoid government telling them to fix them or else.

What good is a car that can last 300K+ miles if only one out of hundreds can do it?; the others breaking quickly to even be getting bad parts from the junkyard ones.

Utterly fantastic the number of parts that can still be viable yet the car cannot run because of a complicated subassembly that will not stay together longterm. And made that way on purpose.
