Hello
The drivers side exterior door handle doesn’t operate correctly on my Versa. I can pull the handle all the way out and the door won’t open. The only way to open the door is to jerk the handle quickly. Any strategies for fixing this? Thanks!!!

Just bumping this thread up. Still hoping for ideas for an adjustment. Perhaps this is a nonissue? All I know is that the other doors on the car do not have this issue....

I also would like to know a fix for this. Mine hasn’t gotten this far yet but I do have to give it a little tug more to open the door than usual.

You'll have to take the door panel off to see what's going on in there to know for sure. It's most likely that replacing that handle assembly that comes with the cables is what will be the fix.

My driver door handle assembly is completely broken and I have not gotten around to fixing it yet. This is a common problem with Versa's. Do some googling, There are some youtube videos out there on how to fix it. The drivers door handle usually goes first because it is generally used the most.
