(2018 Nissan Versa Note SV)
Hi everyone,
So I start my car up and was backing out of the driveway. I realized I forgot something in the house. So I place the car in Park and closed the door with the car still idling with the key in the ignition (I don’t have a key fob).
When I come back (roughly 1-2 minutes), the doors were locked!
Good thing I was able to get the spare in the house to unlock the doors.
This has happened on multiple occasions and I have not been able to recreate the scenario. I’ve learned that if I’m going to do this again to have my window rolled down or to turn off the engine and take my keys with me. Did anyone else experience this? Is this some sort of safety feature that prevents the car from being driven off by a thief?
Other than that, it’s great to be here among other Versa owners.
Thanks in advance!
