My Versa is a 2015 1.6S model. It has the type A set, so the odometer and gas gauge are all electronic. On my maiden drive with it, it read as having two bars left. I stopped to gas up, however, and it only took 1.2 gallons. Right now the bar is constantly blinking, reading as near empty. Is there a way to reset the gauge? I looked at the owner's manual and found nothing.

Welcome amorp29

Are you sure your car is not near empty?
And the problem is with the fuel tank, a not the cluster?

I've had cars where a vent valve for the gas tank had gotten clogged, and it caused the gas pump to shutoff after a few gallons.

Anyone know a way to confirm a tank is full without relying on the gauge, or intentionally over filling it?

This got me thinking....
After you fill it up. Wait 2 minutes, and try again. If it stops again right away, then you might be right to look at the cluster.
But, if you can get another gallon in, then maybe the problem is with the fuel tank.

The fuel gauge works fine. Ran out of gas, got a visit from a HERO worker, and gassed it up. Now reads full. ^_^
I'm guessing it was the fuel pump at the first gas station that was off.

Glad to hear you got it worked out, even though you got stranded for a bit.

Thanks for reporting back, and again, welcome to the community.
