It's your car, do what you want to. The usual stuff has been available for a while. Intakes from AEM and what not, cat backs, there's a lightweight crank pulley as well as strut bars and all that crap. Versaspeed.com lists all the stuff available.

alot of that stuff on versaspeed applies to the old versa hatchback, not the Note...but yes there are several parts in the works for the Note, just keep an eye out towards the middle of the year as that's when alot of these parts will most likely be arriving on to the market :D

Re: (Nissan Versa, 2014)

On (I'm 2014) I purchased a new motor vehicle from your dealership (in Concord NC). I was a very PROUD and LPOYAL Consumer..informing Everyone in my CIRCLE about how GREAT my Nissan Experience was..UNFORTUNATELY, the vehicle has not been satisfactory because..the first time I had a problem..I was given the Run around furst ftom Auto Nation Nissan in Florida then from Courtesy Nissan in Tampa Florida where I know reside..when I first took car in to assess issues.almlst had a collision in when my car completely SHUT OFF IN TRAFFIC..then eventually became sluggush when accelerating..i was informed Nissan Services didn't see a problem..then I was informed it was a stop sensor issue to which I paid to have fixed..the Service Dept handled very haphazardly and failed to stay in communication with me..when I called to check status..Dept closed without so much as a call..left me without transportation..and no courtset vehicle to use while waiting for determination..after finally picking up car I leftvtgs lot and problem of sluggish when making left turns and UPON accelerating from a stop persisted..of course Service Guy left for day..Again I am unable to drive car..and left to without transportation to and from work..i bring car back..it sits for a day before I get a call saying it might be CVT..and because I am at 75000 miles it's my responsibility to pay for repairs..also..Again..no courtesy vehicle suggested..when I informed Service Dept and Nissan that I was under warranty when I initially brought car to be serviced for sluggish problem and we told there wasn't a problem by Nissan Auto Nation in Florida..i have been going back and forth with Nissan to no avail..I started researching about my Versa and CVT ISSUES..YOU have a great many Sir..my vehicle was purchased new in 2014 and I never should be experiencing faulty CVT FROM FAULTY WIRES..I see that Nissan has corrected this fault..thats EXCELLENT..but you are doing a consumer disservice to me by saying I Must Cover Cost of your many mistakes..this saddens me..because I LOVED NISSAN!!

Your mechanic inspected my vehicle and agreed to fix the problem under warranty, however, when I collected the vehicle and started using it again, the problem was still there.

I would appreciate it if you could organise to REPAIR MY VEHICLE AT NO COST TO ME..ASAP..my job is at stake here as well As I am sure you can appreciate, I rely on my car for transport and apart from the inconvenience, this problem has also caused me to incur additional cost (I have kept the receipts as proof).

I look forward to settling this matter amicably. If, however, the matter is not satisfactorily resolved ASAP, I will consider taking further action to resolve the complaint either through the Department of Commerce or through the courts...I have always stood by Nissan...its time for Nissan to stand by it's product and CONSUMER.

Please look at documentations and please listen to ALL phone communications concerning this issue.

Please make it RIGHT and make me KNOS Image the RIGHT choice when I purchased my Nissan.

Remember that in regards to modding the engine, it will more than likely invalidate the warrantee.

Back in the old days, you could slap on dual Weber sidedrafts, headers, and a cam to really wake up these 4-bangers. Maybe bump the HP from 109 to 150 or so. Or they had turbo kits for more power. Or port out the heads. But they don't make speed parts like this for the cars nowadays, unless you own a muscle car or a Nissan Skyline.

Anything you can practically do to the engine now requires software changes to make them work and that is 100% intentional.

Even changing a battery on your own can now often be described as a mod as some need software updates over even that.

Speed parts for a VERSA? WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN????

Like hopping up a sewing machine.............to what possible end?

Highly misplaced gratification.

They only make speed parts for people who are willing to pay for speed parts. Generally, people driving econoboxes do not spend tons of money for speed parts. However, there are some who will, and that is how you got the crazy Civics of the late 90s and early 2000s that have every part known to man made for them. A few people were willing to pay, and then the parts started flowing in as production increased priced dropped and more and more people could afford the speed parts.

If you really want parts made, you should get a group buy going for something you want. Approach so-and-so company that already makes similar parts, and say you have 10-20 people willing to pay for X part. They'll gladly work up a quote for you, and if you're willing to pay, they'll make the parts. Its not really that complex, but it does require a bit of leg work and organization. I've personally done it a couple times. I've made parts myself for cars, and I've had companies make parts that I've designed. I've tried to get companies to design and make parts for cars, but it has fallen through on several occasions, and every time its because people don't want to pay that much for parts. Well you can't get to the cheaper high volume parts if you can't get initial parts made.

That all being said, I am designing and making MAF sensor housings for the Versa (and Micra) 1.6L HR16DE engine. This part allows you to make your own intake for your car instead of paying $200+ for a name brand intake. So far I have 2 people who are somewhat interested in the part. That isn't much of a reason to look into making other aftermarket parts for this car.

Hey friend,Im going thru the same as you. All I want is for them to fix my car.So sad they way they treat customers.I brought my car in while still under warranty extension if you had the 5 yr and thet didn't fix it.. when I bought the car I purchased the 72 month ,that should give me 2 yrs extra as well.Nissan needs to be fair with extended warranty and righteous with really fixing the problem. I almost got hit trying to merge on I10 where its 70 miles. I know you understand my fear that day. It was a close call for my life. And this is after they printed to fix the CVT.So sad how they do not care about our safety.I just want them to correct their mistake.
