what kind of filter and oil should i use?im planning to do it by myself because the price here in winterpeg is killing me.. and any instructional video would be awesome too.. thanks a lot..

Those oils look awesome to me. I buy whatever synthetic is on sale.
I'd use a filter with more flow holes though, especially if you can get a better price from your shop.
And check web for filters with superior first-pass filtration. Will also say suitable for 10-16000km etc

unfortunately that the only brand for filter that our shop carry. we can get other brand though but it will takes time to deliver it in our shop.. can you suggest a recommended brand for filter?

you got this from walmart,you said? how much is it? so any of these two filters will do?

I can't really recommend you guys oils personally, as far as brands go as I don't think you get the same there as here, but I switched from a Castrol 5W-30 to a Liqui Moly 5W-30 and noticed an immediate increase in response, engine ran quieter and later on better fuel economy.

You get what you pay for! If you guys get Ryco filters, I highly recommend those.

just check our inventory and we only have this for our nissan versa.

btw,how many liters do i need to top up my versa? and do i really need to change the filter too?

so i got the time to change my wife's car but when i got home with oil and filter with me, my wife told me she went already to Super Lube and changed the oil and have it checked. (facepalm) well there's nothing i can do. So i reviewed the test results from the shop and seems everything is normal expect for this two "Slight Rear Engine Seal Leak and Slight Leak in Oil Pan/Oil Sending" so guys bare with me since im a noob about this do i need to worry about this and send our car to the shop? what do i need to do?
