since you live in Canada, the temperatures should be cold.
Use oil rating - SAE 5W-30.
Any good branded oil should do.
Semi Synthetic might be a good option.

For oil filters, either go with stock or Purolator Pureone Gold.

My next oil change is due after 5K km.

I have already planned my next oil change location.
The oil i will be using : Total Quartz 7000 - 10W40
The oil filter i will be using - Purolator PureOne [the gold one].

Will always consider buying myself an OEM filter...
If i buy custom, i'll always make sure they meet the OEM specs!
