I see about 8 flies on my A-pillar when it's warm out. Is it the brand new paint? Or are flies attracted to the color light blue? My neighbor's dark blue Tacoma and roommate's blue 1994 Civic VX gets no attention from the winged ones! LOL!

Did you just wash your car? Reason I ask is right after I washed my car the next day it was covered with flies. I think the soap gives off a sweet smell.

Only time I had a lot of fruit flies inside was when my dad made wine.

I have never seen a large number of insects before on my car.

However this year there are tons of ladybugs everywhere. And they bite. :eek:

Those are called Japanese Beetles, they aren't ladybugs.
